It has begun! The first early release Miscrits from inside the Volcano are here!

Last week, you got a glimpse at the newest Lightning Miscrit, FELIS, and this week, he is the grand prize for winning 25 battles in the Volcano Island Battle Arena! The 2nd new Miscrit is one that some of you may be familiar with, if you have been on these forums for a while…SHANGHORSE is finally here! Originally reported to be a resident of the Miscrian Jungle, Shanghorse has now been discovered to be a captive of the Magicites that dwell deep within the Volcano! Fortunately, one has recently escaped, and is now being sold in the Miscrit Shop!

…And what would a ‘new release’ Monday be without a brand new dark Miscrit in Sunfall Kingdom? …Please welcome DARK GRUBBEAN to the growing family of ‘darks’.

And one more quick reminder… As we announced at the end of last week, all sales of Magic spells in Miscria have now stopped, and both Magic Shops have closed their doors for good! Any spells that you already have can be used in battles until the end of this month, and then all Magic spells will be removed from the game entirely.

Two great Wind Miscrits are hitting the shelves of the Miscrit Shops today! Mun Kee in Sunfall Kingdom, and…the brand new Monk’s Mountain, rare Miscrit, Pollifog in Volcano Island!

Pollifog is quite fast, and somewhat unpredictable, with three completely random stats. Add the “Deep Sleep” ability to the mix, and you’ve got yourself a very capable combatant!

Well, it looks like this one came down to pure luck…because I don’t think anybody got the counts correct on that first clue…

Congratulations to Fadel Saad for being the first to correctly guess the name of our very first official Volcano Miscrit…FELIS! He is a part cat, part bat, Lightning Miscrit that will be found among the perilous terrain of Miscria’s most foreboding zone…the Volcano!

Fadel, you will be given the very first Felis, as soon as he is ready for battle!

…As for those clues…I’m sure a few of you are curious about the correct answers…

Perished Puff’s enchanted damage is 30. There are actually 21 lampposts in Volcano Island’s village. 4 of the 5 current Elementums have the symbol for their element somewhere on their body (can you find it on each of them?). Dark Kindle’s non-enchanted damage is 11. So the answer to the first clue is 5. …Some of you counted wrong but got lucky by still arriving at the same answer.

Liquifien is the only Miscrit who is rumored to have come from another world (not Fangly or Boneshee. Aerobia is part of the world of Miscria).

And, of course, Waddles is the rare Miscrit who is sometimes mistaken for a bath toy.

Great effort on this one, guys! I hope you had fun!

As stated in yesterday’s somewhat vague promise of ‘changes coming’, there are several major adjustments that we have decided to make within Miscrits, in order to make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

This is the first one. And there are several parts to it:

1) Effective IMMEDIATELY, magic spell usage in the Battle Arenas and Platinum Arenas will be limited to ONE spell per match, instead of six.
2) The Magic Shops will close FOREVER after this weekend. So, if you want to stock up on spells, do it now…but…
3) After March 31st, ALL magic spells will be removed from the game, PERMANENTLY.

That is all.

This decision was made in direct response to numerous complaints about the way magic was being used excessively in the Arenas, as well as verbal abuse that some players were subjected to on Facebook and this forum as a result.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. However, if this thread gets off topic or becomes non-productive, it will be closed.

The Mystery Miscrit challenge is back!! …And this time…we’re revealing brand new Miscrits from the next upcoming zone…THE VOLCANO!!!

We’re going to do things a little bit differently for this round of Mystery Miscrits… Instead of me giving you the length of the name, and some letters to start with, how about making a bit more of a game out of this? I will give you clues to figure out not only what two of the letters are, but you’ll also need to solve a bit of a trivia/math question to figure out how many letters total are in the name of this Miscrit…

CLUE #1: Length of the name

((The ‘enchanted’ damage power of Perished Puff) + (The number of lampposts in Volcano Island’s town) + (The number of Elementums that have the actual symbol for their element displayed somewhere on their body)) divided by the ‘un-enchanted’ healing power of Dark Kindle

CLUE #2: First letter in the name

The same as the sixth letter in the name of a Miscrit who is rumored to not be from Miscria at all.

CLUE #3: Last letter in the name

The same as the seventh letter in the name of a rare Miscrit who is sometimes mistaken for a bath toy.

The FIRST person to correctly guess the name of this new Miscrit will receive the very first copy of this Miscrit before anybody else!

In response to feedback from our loyal players about certain in-game issues that have been a source of recent concern, and have affected the enjoyment of Miscrits as a whole, we are currently working on some minor…and major…changes that will address what we feel are very legitimate areas for improvement.

So…what sort of changes are we talking about here? Well…I can’t say much yet, but…

If you feel that magic is abused in the Battle Arena and Platinum Arena…

You’ll wan’t to be here for this.

If you are sick and tired of being walked all-over by people who spam Complete Confusion and Deep Sleep…

You’ll wan’t to be here for this.

If you are bored with Miscrits and are just waiting to beat Apollo Nox, so you can say you’ve done everything in the game…

…And on a side note…if you feel like this forum is useless, and nobody listens to your opinions/concerns/suggestions… You’ve got another thing comin’.
